Krishna Prabhakar

Founder & CEO
Krishna has over 20 years of experience in the systems and networking industry, including founding of two successful start-ups prior to Avenda. Before founding Avenda, Krishna was at Cisco Systems where he was Director of Engineering in the Security Technology Group and also worked in the Voice Technology Group and Network Management Groups. His team of highly successful engineers developed and released 18 different products in the seven years he worked at Cisco. Prior to Cisco, Krishna was the CEO of Devsoft Corporation which was acquired by Cisco in 1998. Devsoft and Cisco co-developed user registration, administration and tracking components for policy networking in Cisco's enterprise products. This co-developed technology is precursor to the IEEE 802.1x standard. Devsoft's extensive experience developing policy control software helped Cisco accelerate the delivery of end-to-end policy networking solutions for their CiscoAssure Policy Networking initiative.

In addition to Cisco and Devsoft, Krishna has worked in the systems engineering groups at Sun Microsystems and Advanced Micro Devices. He was also the founding CEO and the idea-man behind MarketTools that was started as a spin-off from Devsoft in 1997. MarketTools is now a successful company based in San Francisco with 450 employees worldwide. Krishna holds an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with distinction from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India.

Santhosh Cheeniyil

Founder, CTO & VP Engineering
Santhosh has over 20 years of product design, development and management experience in the computer industry. Prior to co-founding Avenda Systems, Santhosh was at Cisco Systems for over 7 years, where he was a Senior Manager and Technical Leader in security, voice and network management technology groups; he led the design and development of several successful products in the VoIP and network management areas. He was a Principal Engineer at Devsoft Corporation, which was acquired by Cisco in 1998.

Prior to Devsoft he ran a successful software consulting business in Silicon Valley for 5 years, where he spearheaded multiple high profile projects from concept to deployment in companies such as Netcom, Aspect Telecommunications, Concentric Networks and Visions of Reality. Earlier in his career, he also held engineering positions at David Systems and Intel Corporation. Santhosh holds an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut, India.

Ron DiBiase

Ron brings more than 25 years of high tech sales and marketing experience to his position as Vice President of Sales at Avenda Systems. During his career, he has held various senior management positions focusing on executive sales management activities; direct and channel oriented sales strategies and coverage implementations; customer support; and business development.

Prior to Avenda, Ron was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at RingCube Technologies where he led the effort to drive penetration of RingCube's Desktop Virtualization solution into the enterprise market. In addition, he led the business development efforts to partner with key leading vendors such as VMware, HP, Microsoft, IBM, and Symantec. Prior to RingCube, Ron served as Vice President Worldwide Sales at PortAuthority Technologies, which was acquired by Websense in 2007. At PortAuthority, DiBiase successfully built and managed sales and customer support teams to attack the developing information leak prevention market. Prior to PortAuthority, Ron served as the Vice President Sales Americas, Emerging Technologies for Juniper Networks. He joined Juniper as part of the acquisition of Redline Networks where he was the Vice President, Sales. At Redline, he successfully built a global sales team to attack new application optimization market, managed several functional groups including inside sales, customer support, and Business Development. Prior to Redline Networks, Ron held senior executive positions at Planetweb, Shoretel, and Nortel/Bay Networks/SynOptics. Ron holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering with an emphasis in business and economics from Lafayette College, Easton, PA.

K Prasadrao

General Manager, India Development Center, Bangalore
Prasadrao has over 33 years of experience in various engineering industries at several locations in India. Prasadrao has extensive experience successfully taking key operational roles and responsibilities in these industries. His key roles included general administration and management, business operations, financials, marketing and human resources. Prasadrao currently manages the operations of Avenda India in Bangalore. He is responsible for general administration, financials, recruitment and project/program management. In addition, Prasadrao brings tremendous knowledge, contacts and experience essential for local approvals, clearances and licensing. Prasadrao holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Andhra University.
