QA Engineers
Avenda Systems, is looking for experienced and motivated software QA/test engineers. Using your know-how and expertise, you will work with an outstanding team of engineers to ensure our network security product releases are just what our customers need. The job involves writing test cases for various enterprise security policies, developing automation scripts for RADIUS and different EAP protocols, performing server performance benchmarking, regression tests, and qualifying new features for every software release of the product.
Primary Role and Responsibilities- Design, document, implement, and execute test cases and scenarios for various network security policies
- Do system level as well as functional testing of the different components
- Complete performance and scalability testing
- Write automated test scripts and maintain test systems
- From 3-5 years of experience in software testing, writing test cases, performing tests, usage of bug tracking systems
- Broad knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Strong scripting background required for test automation (perl, javascript, shell script, expect and others)
- Extensive experience with testbed and network management systems
- Familiarity with setting up routers, switches, wireless access point & firewalls
- Protocol level familiarity with RADIUS and different EAP methods
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area
